Dr. Yigal Arica was born in Jerusalem in 1947 to a family of scholars for who the Kabbalah was an integral part
of their life. In the beginning of the 70s he taught theology in London and Johannesburg, where he studied business management and entered the business world. By the end of the 70s he became a successful businessman in South Africa. In 1980 with the aspiration to widen his horizon he returned to Israel, studied simultaneously in Bar-Ilan University: Political Science, Social Psychology and Sociology and in Tel-Aviv University, Law. He was awarded a Ph.D for his pioneering interdisciplinary (Judicial, socio-political)

Thesis: Chief Justices of the Supreme Court - Decision and Policy Making.

Yigal Arica also underwent legal training and he is a member of the Israeli Bar Association.

In the beginning of the 90s, Arica returned to business in Africa. He received the representation of a Japanese world known car manufacturer for the Nigerian Republic.

By the mid 90s he sold his business and dedicated himself to writing. Today after publishing in Israel 7 best selling books, Yigal Arica lives and writes in England.
